Past Projects

Recent marine experience includes:

2020: Ongoing maintenance and ILS for Royal Navy ships.

2019:  1 off 85m RoRo Ferry Ventilation and heating systems.

2013 to 2014:  Refit of refrigeration system installed on 80m Royal Navy Offshore Patrol Vessels.

7 off ship sets of cold and cool room installations for 62m fast strike craft for the Hellenic Navy.

2008:  1 off 64m Passenger / Vehicle Ferry.  Ventilation and heating systems.

2002 to 2006:  4 off 80m Offshore Patrol Vessels for the Royal Navy covering all aspects of air conditioning with sea water cooled direct expansion refrigeration, ventilation, heating, refrigeration and Cold and Cool Rooms.  The first three ships are in service as fishery protection vessels in European waters with the fourth ship about to take up station patrolling the Falkland Islands.  Ships built by VT Shipbuilding.

2005:  A 64m ROPAX RoRo ferry with vehicle deck for trucks and cars, extensive passenger accommodation, crew cabins and mess areas. Systems included air conditioning with chilled water systems, ventilation and heating with the heating systems incorporating oil fired boilers as well as heat recovery exchangers connected into the engine cooling systems for waste heat recovery.  Ferry built by FBMA in the Philippines.

2003:  A 75m super yacht, the world’s largest single mast sailing yacht with almost a 100m mast and installations included air conditioning with chilled water, ventilation, heating and Cold and Cool rooms.  Yacht construction utilised GRP structure and consequently system weight was crucial.  Yacht built by VT Shipbuilding.

56m high speed catamaran ferries with all-air air conditioning and seawater cooled direct expansion refrigeration systems and ventilation systems.  Several ferries built by FBMA in Philippines.
